Our service-oriented receptionists greet you with warmth and professionalism from the first moment. They help you with everything from check-in to practical questions.

Kitchen and Restaurant

Our dedicated butler, our experienced waiters and maîtres d’, and our skilled chef team, ensure culinary experiences, whether it’s the breakfast buffet, a casual lunch, or an elegant dinner. All menus are tailored to each event and wines are hand-picked from our own wine cellar. Great flavors and local seasonal ingredients take center stage, delivered with service of the highest quality.

The estate’s butler holds a degree from The British Butler Institute in London, and ensures that everything is well thought out, immaculate, and perfect – executed with discretion, professionalism, and a service mindset.

Housekeeping Team

Those who may be seen the least, but felt the most. Our reliable housekeeping staff ensures that all rooms and common areas maintain the highest standards – so you can relax and feel at home. At a place like Hafslund Hovedgård, housekeeping must be performed with precision, care, and a gentle hand. Antique furniture, chandeliers and carpets, as well as artworks and delicate surfaces, require appropriate products and methods. The housekeeping staff helps ensure the manor is presentable at all times.

Operations Staff

The estate’s hardworking operations manager and gardening crew keep the buildings and Hafslund Park beautifully maintained throughout the year, so guests can focus on their stay without worries.

Management

The estate’s management plays a key role in creating good experiences for both guests and employees. There are two operational management roles at the estate today: Manager of Hafslund Hovedgård and Manager of Operational Management and Hospitality.

Management’s work is not only about ensuring efficient and sustainable operations, and managing the estate for future generations, but also about facilitating well-being, quality, and development for employees. The shared goal of management is to contribute to a positive work environment that rubs off on guests, and helps ensure everyone is met with professionalism, service, and care.
