Hafslund Hovedgård combines traditional charm with a strong commitment to environment and sustainability.
As an Eco-Lighthouse certified conference center, we continuously take steps to improve our environmental impact and inspire guests to make more sustainable choices. “Green conferences” was added as a new set of industry criteria in 2024, confirming the environmental measures and requirements we deliver for every conference event.
Eco-conscious choices in historical surroundings
In our daily operations, we strive to make eco-conscious choices. We have installed energy-efficient solutions, we choose local ingredients for food production, we serve only plated dishes for lunch and dinner to minimize food waste, electric vehicles ensure eco-friendly transport in daily operations, and we strive to use local craftsmen.
