As a certified Eco-Lighthouse conference centre, we are committed to continuously reducing our environmental impact while inspiring our guests to make more sustainable choices. In 2024, ‘Green Conferences’ was introduced as a new industry standard, recognising the environmental measures and requirements we uphold for every conference we host.
Sustainable choices in historic surroundings
In our daily operations, we strive to make eco-conscious choices. We have implemented energy-efficient solutions throughout the estate and prioritise locally sourced ingredients in our kitchen. Meals are served as plated dishes at lunch and dinner to help minimise food waste, while electric vehicles support more sustainable daily operations. We also seek to work with local craftsmen whenever possible, ensuring that care for both the environment and the surrounding community is reflected in everything we do.
